Topic: Colors


This day, the class was about colors. Ss were divided in couple. Teacher gave a paper with a color for example, our color was pink and she asked us if were wearing a pink color, we answered that our blouse were pink. Then, T chose a color and we had to touch something with the color that T chose.

In the next activity, T had flashcards with eight different colors. In after that T showed us one by one and she asked us what color was. Then, she showed us flashcards with the corresponding spelling and she asked one by one to spell one colors and said the name of the color. Finally, T made pairs for practicing spelling.

We made pairs. T gave a page with a market and after that we made a competition pairs versus pairs. Then, each pairs choose a color paper depending of the color that we had we should write in a page the name of the color and pasted the paper under the balloon with the same color.

Worksheet given by T

The T gave a worksheet and we had to resolve the exercises in the page. When we were doing the exercises, T monitored and asked for one of them and the question was what color is it? And we should answer depending the color of the figure. In the worksheet we had eight different figures with different colors. When we finished to do it, T asked one by one to answer of each exercises.
 


Ss were dividing in two groups and lines. Group one and group 2 an S of the group 1 had to compete with someone of the group 2. T showed us a flashcard with a color on the board the S who was competing with someone of the other group, they should to write the name of the color quickly and the person who finished first the group got a point.

Note: This class was interesting because they introduced the topic asked us if we had a previous knowledge and we taught the spelling of the colors and the flashcards were nice.
