Closing Ceremony - November 9th, 2015

As a group we had a little party for children as a way to thank them for the time they took to come to our classes.





At the beggining of the ceremony,  We did some activities for children were not bored.













 After, We prepared a video with all the pictures took in our clasess with children. They saw it.  











Students received a recognition  for completing the course. We felt so proud because they deserve it.








 










At the end, they ate a snack that we prepared for them. They felt happy.


       

 It is a pleasure working with you.


Note: This course was wonderful because I learned a lot. I want to tell that "Thank you" God for this experience, Teacher Orlando for Teaching us to love more our career I really love children, my colleagues for your comments positives and negatives I know that is to continue growing and children for come to classes. Blessings

November 6th/ 2015 Collective Class Group 02

Topic: Olive Oil (Reading)

 

At the beginning of the class, Ss made pairs. T gave a pieces of paper in blank. Ss put it above their heads. After, T said three words and Ss made drawing without saw the paper. The pair that had the best drawing was the winner.














T Meybelh gave a page. Ss worked in it. They translated the numbers of the words in the correct meaning. After, Ss compared the answered.















 
In the next stage, students gave the text which about “Olive oil”. Ss read just the first paragraph. After, Ss worked in the worksheet. They found the word in bold in the article and circled the correct meaning.Ss read the second and third paragraph answered some questions. At the end, Ss read all the text and they ordered the event according how they happening. 








In the pot stage, ss worked in pairs. T gave a paper and markers. Ss created a chart with some ideas with the topic “Olive oil” for example: Pair # 1 The beginning, Pair # 2 Benefit, Pair # 3 Uses and Pair # 4. The future. After, ss passed in front and share their ideas.













In the last satege, Ss formed pairs. T cashpal showed a word in disorder way. The pair that knew the work jumped and said the correct word. Also, T showed the correct Word.


Note: This class was good. They  have some issues related with organization, but they dit it.

Novebember 6th/ 2015 Collective Class Group 01

Topic: "Proverbs" ( Reading)


At the beginning of the class, students played "Broken Telephone", students made two lines. Then, T Geos and Gio showed a proverbs and students passed the phrase by whispering it to the next person, the last person that got the complete phrase wrote the complete sentence on the board. At the end the group that had the correct phrase got a point.








In the next stage, using the title of the article “Proverbs”. T  Karla asked to ss What word come to your mind when you read the word “Proverb”?. After, some word of the new vocabulary pasted on the board.  T  Karla R. explained the meaning.  Two volunteers passed to the front and put in the correct order.










T gave Pieces of paper with parts of proverbs to Ss. Students read and looked for the other part. In pairs students read the proverbs and said what it means. Students shared the meaning to everybody. 

                                                 

                             


T gave a worksheet about an article about proverbs. T. chose some students to read the text paragraph by paragraph. The second worksheet, Ss answered some questions related to the article, and matching vocabulary words with their meanings.





In the last stage, Students made pairs and chose a piece of paper which contained a proverb. Then, students received a blank page, where they represented the proverb by a drawing and when the students finished the drawing, they presented it to the other groups in order to guess the proverb.













Note: I really liked our class because we developed all of the  stage good. we worked hard for it. We managed the time good. We had some problems with the tape, but we solved in the moment. As group, we felt happy.

Class 20 - Wednesday, october 4th/2015 Yesmin's group

Topic: Toyland! ( Reading)



At the beginning of the class, Ss made a circle with the desks, T Aby gave a ball to the students and they passed the ball one by one until the music stops. When the music stops the ss who had the ball chose a number of the pieces of paper that placed there. In those pieces of paper were a word and Ss organized it and say the word.










In the Pre stage, T Karla Pineda presented the previous vocabulary with a real toys and the names tag. Then, Students practiced the pronunciation of each toy. Also, T asked to students closed their eyes and T took out a toy and asked which toy was missing. T presented four adjectives. They make sentences using toys and adjectives. 




In the next stage, T A paper with the text and the worksheet gave to students. Ss read after the T. Then, T asked to read one by one a part of the text. Ss answered the worksheet individual and they compared answers.






T Karla put the image face down. Two images for each S.  In pairs they created a short conversation.












 

In the last stage, students made two groups then, each group had pieces of paper with words, teacher said a sentence and students formed that sentence, the group who did it first, they had the chance to play shooting. The two group had the same point. All were the winner.









Note: This was the last class.  I really like it. Children enjoyed it. The use the realia was a good option. Ss felt enthusiastic. Also, they were paying attention. We tried to manage the time. It was a little difficult, but We did it!. This class came all of the Ss. We really had fun with them.

Class 19 - Wednesday, october 28th/2015 Fernando's group

Topic: Toyland (Listening)





At the beginning of the class, T Georgina had a box and a little minion. T passed one by one, Ss closed their eyes. T moved the minion and Ss said the sentences using the preposition depending where the minion was.



In the pre stage, T Gio presented seven images related with the vocabulary and the seven preposition. Ss practiced the pronunciation of the words. After, T gave a marker and Ss put the marker in the position that T said.


In during stage, T Fernando gave to Ss a worksheet. Ss listened a conversation and they ordered the event. T played it three times. In the second part, Ss listened the conversation again and they complete the information. Ss listened it four times.










In the next stage, T Fatima paste the flashcard in different position and Ss looked it. The first S who took it. S made a sentences using the preposition according the position of the image. After, T gave a flashcard to each S. T said a sentence and Ss pasted the flashcards in the correct position.

                                                                                                                        

In the last stage, Ss played the “Marker hot” Ss passed the marker. Ss who had the marker, they put the minion in the position that T Vane said.



Note: I really like this class. For me, the class was useful because sometimes, I get confused with the preposition. I learned as the children.  The instructions were clear in some parts of the lesson. The important thing is that Ss made all the activities.

Class 18- Monday, october 26th/2015 Fernando

Topic: Toyland! (Grammar)


At the beginning of the class, T presented seven different images of toys. Then, Ss chose a piece of paper and pasted according to the picture. Also they said “I have a...”. T asked for the pronunciation of the word and they practiced it and the question “ Do you have a…?”. 



In the next stage, T showed the pictures of seven prepositions and explained the meaning of it. Ss practiced the pronunciation of each preposition. After, T introduced the question “where is the …?  And Ss wrote the answered on the board. After, Ss practiced some sentences and they wrote on the board. T checked it and correct the mistakes.



 






T pasted the flashcards in different position and he asked the question. Students looked for the picture and answered “The car is in the desk”.



In the last stage, T gave a worksheet. Ss answered the correct preposition. Finally, they compare the answers together.















Note: Ss enjoyed this class. I saw that they wanted to learn. Even they tried to write sentences on the board.  Although, the topic was difficult but they felt interested in it.  The materials were colorful and the activities were fun. For me, this class was a challenge for children.  They tried to do the best.
