Class 11- Wednesday, 30th september/2015 Geo-Gio

Topic: Insect Life! (Listening)



T started the class greeting to Ss. In the first stage, Ss made a circle with the desk. T gave a name of the insect to each Ss. The names were “ant” and “bee”.  T said “ant” the Ss who had the name moved to other seat. The S who did not have a seat. She/he said a name of the insect or “Insect basket” when Ss said that all of they had to move and look for another seat.
 

After that, Ss practiced the pronunciation of insects’name. T touched the picture and asked to each students the insects’ name. Then, T presented the adjectives: Dangerous, beautiful, ugly, big and small. S chose an adjective an insect and they made the complete sentences for example “The butterfly is beautiful”. T showed a balloon with each color. T asked what color was each insect and Ss answered according with the picture. Ss chose a color and an adjective they said a sentences.

 

Ss received a worksheet. Ss listened the audio and answered the questions true or false.
 
 
 

Ss standed up and compared the answers. Then, Ss shared the answers with everybody. T presented the second part of the listening. Ss listened the second audio and they ordered the events according that the person said in the audio. Then, they compared the answers.





In the next activity, each Ss passed and listened an audio according that the audio said, S took an adjective and pasted near the correct insects’ name.


In the last stage, T gave a page with an animal, Ss colored the picture according to the color of the animal.



I really like this class. They developed very well the skill. The materials were colorful. Ss enjoyed all the activities as us. I saw that children were paying atention to all the things that T did. Good job!

Class 10 - Monday, September 28th/2015 Yesmin

Topic: Insects life! (Gramar).

At the beginning of the class, Ss made two lines and they closed their eyes. They looked to object that was hidden.  Ss hold the hands. Then, the first  Ss who was in the line  he/ she had to  push the hand to her/his classmate until theend of the line.


In the next stage, T presented some pictures. In one side, T showed the pictures that represented plural “are”. On the other side, T represented the singular “is”. After that, T introduced the questions “how is it?” and how are they?” T asked them Ss answer the questions.

 
In the next activity, Ss made a circle with the desks. Ss walked around the desks. T said right. Ss walked at the right. If the T said left, Ss walked at the left. When T said spread, Ss looked for a seat and the S who did not have a desks took a piece of paper that contained the spelling. Ss made a sentences with the name of the insect.

In this activity, Ss received a worksheet. They answered to some exercises about “is” and are”. Then, Ss compared the answers each other.T gave a worksheet to all Ss. SS answered the test and they shared their answers.


T class was good.  He had  little issues but he tried to resolve very well. Ss learned new vocabulary and the activities were fine. They enjoyed the class.

Class 9 - Wednesday, September 23th/2015 Fernando

Topic: Insects life! (Vocabulary)


 













At the beggining of the class, T asked them if they  remember the previous topic. Then T asked them to stand up and changed the place that they were. Ss had to look for a paper under the desk. Each Ss passed to the board to match the words with the pictures. T asked them if all were correct and they pasted in the correct place. Then, Ss practiced the pronunciation of each insect. Wasp, mosquito, ladybug, grasshopper, ant, bee, butterfly, beetle, cockroach. 





In the next activity, T introduced the question “what color is it?”  T asked to the color of the insect. Then, he present the next question “what is your favorite insect?” S answered one by one. Last question that T showed was “what insect don’t you like? Ss answered to this question.

 



















Ss stand up and T gave a paper with the name of the insect. Ss had to ask each other what is your favorite insect? Then, T gave the possible answered to the previous questions and practiced.



















Ss played a game. S who was in the middle had to mention another insect’s name and if the students who had they name did not mention. S passed in the middle and said another name.































T introduced the new vocabulary and to Ss if they knew how do you say “alas, antenas y piernas” and English. T wrote the correct spelling and pronunciation. Then, T asked the question “how many leg have the cockroach? And Ss answered.


























After that, T gave a worksheet. Ss completed it. They shared the answers with everybody.























In this stages, Ss stand up and made two groups and lines. An S represented to each group. T said a word to Ss and they had to give some clues to other Ss and they had to guess. The first group that had more point was the winner.
 
 
 






Note: This class was good. The relationship T-S was fine. Ss enyojed all the activities.Also, they learned new vocabulary, it was nice.
 

Class 8 - Monday, September 21th/2015 Karla- Karla

Topic: Great oufit! (Reading).

At the beginning of the class, T started greeting to Ss. Ss played the roulette. Ss made the circle and sit on the floor. The S spun the roulette depending in which word the arrow stopped S took the picture that the paper said and paste on the board. Each spun the roulette.

T introduce the vocabulary and the pronunciation of words. T gave a name of the clothes and Ss pasted according with the picture. Then, T presented new vocabulary, it was the colors. Blue, yellow, red, brown, white, black, green and pink.  Then T asked for the colors to the clothes.

 


In the next activity T presented a big book to students with a story of the family “Outfit of my family”. In the first time, T read alone. In the second, Ss read after the T. the T gave a mini book and worksheet to all students. Ss red and answered just the first part. Then, Ss read again and answered the second part. Finally Ss shared the answer.












In the last activity, T gave a bingo card to each Ss. T said a sentences and Ss marked if they had the sentences in the chart. The first S who complete the chart was the winner.













Note: We really enjoyed this class. I did not  feel nervous. First, I thought  that Ss did not understand the text also, That the class would make boring. I saw that children was entertained with the text. They enjoyed the class even when the skill was Reading.  We did it!!

Friday, 18 September/2015


T greeting us and explain how to plan a listening class.  Then, we made a circle and T gave us a “pepito” and “Josefina”. T played the music when the music stopped Ss who had the toys made a group.  We made four group and worked together with a worksheet that T gave us.

 
We worked with the first activity. It was a brainstorm about the word “Bullying”.
 

 

Then, we worked with a vocabulary. We had to match the words with the definitions. When we completed it, we shared
the answer with other groups. After that, we listened an audio and answer four questions.
 







T played again the audio and we completed the next activity missing the spaces. Finally, we discussed some questions.      
 
 
 


In the second part of the class, we played " rabbits and houses" to make groups.






The T gave to the groups another worksheets, and we answered according with a song that T played.
 

Class 7- Wednesday, 16th September/2015 Hazel- Abi
















At the Beginning of the class, T greeted to Ss. Ss worked in pairs. T pasted a big poster with the song on the board and gave a paper to Ss. Ss listened the song and ordered the part of it. Then, T checked the correct order. T sung the song with Ss.


















T Hazel presented the vocabulary with eight flashcards, dress, skirt, shirt, t-shirt, cap, shoes, socks, and jeans. Ss practiced the pronunciation. After that, T showed the questions “what is this? “And “what are these?” she explained the meaning. Ss practiced each other using a little shape.
 

T paste a clothesline on the wall. It had little flashcards hanged up. Ss made two groups and lines. They competed. T said a sentence for example, “they are shoes” students run and touch the image that it had shoes.




T gave a worksheet to all Ss. T listened the audio twice and they completed the worksheet. Then, they compared the answers.

Ss made two group and lines. T put some clothes on the floor. Students had to listen that the T said. They run to took the clothes and put it on.













Note: T made a good job with all the materials and activities that girls presented. Ss enjoyed all the activities. T kids participated in that. I really like the last activity. It was nice.

Class 6 - Monday, 14th September /2015 Vane-Fatima

Topic: Great Outfit! (Grammar).














At the beginning of the class, T Vane showed some pictures related with the vocabulary and she asked them the question “what is this?” Ss answered her. After that, Ss played the hangman. Ss said a letter if the letter were not, T pasted a part of the body. Ss guessed all the words.
 
 
 
 
 
 
In the next activity, T presented the pictures and Ss practiced the pronunciation and the spelling of the words. Then, T presented the topic “It is a” “They are”. T practiced to point a word and Ss had to say the correct sentence. Then, T said a word and Ss wrote on a board a sentences using the structure. T asked if was ok.
 


Before the activity, T Vane pasted the picture on the desk. Ss had to touch the picture that the T said. For example “dress” Ss walked slowly to touch the picture. The last s who touch it, she/he had to write the sentences according that the T said.
 





T Fatima gave a worksheet to each students. They completed it and compared with your classmates. Then, Ss shared the answer with everybody. A S passed on the board and drew a picture and the other Ss guessed it.

 




Finally, T gave a paper and pen to three of our classmates and they help to Ss. The volunteers drew the picture that the T said and showed the picture to Ss. Ss guessed and said the complete sentence.
