Class 19 - Wednesday, october 28th/2015 Fernando's group

Topic: Toyland (Listening)





At the beginning of the class, T Georgina had a box and a little minion. T passed one by one, Ss closed their eyes. T moved the minion and Ss said the sentences using the preposition depending where the minion was.



In the pre stage, T Gio presented seven images related with the vocabulary and the seven preposition. Ss practiced the pronunciation of the words. After, T gave a marker and Ss put the marker in the position that T said.


In during stage, T Fernando gave to Ss a worksheet. Ss listened a conversation and they ordered the event. T played it three times. In the second part, Ss listened the conversation again and they complete the information. Ss listened it four times.










In the next stage, T Fatima paste the flashcard in different position and Ss looked it. The first S who took it. S made a sentences using the preposition according the position of the image. After, T gave a flashcard to each S. T said a sentence and Ss pasted the flashcards in the correct position.

                                                                                                                        

In the last stage, Ss played the “Marker hot” Ss passed the marker. Ss who had the marker, they put the minion in the position that T Vane said.



Note: I really like this class. For me, the class was useful because sometimes, I get confused with the preposition. I learned as the children.  The instructions were clear in some parts of the lesson. The important thing is that Ss made all the activities.

Class 18- Monday, october 26th/2015 Fernando

Topic: Toyland! (Grammar)


At the beginning of the class, T presented seven different images of toys. Then, Ss chose a piece of paper and pasted according to the picture. Also they said “I have a...”. T asked for the pronunciation of the word and they practiced it and the question “ Do you have a…?”. 



In the next stage, T showed the pictures of seven prepositions and explained the meaning of it. Ss practiced the pronunciation of each preposition. After, T introduced the question “where is the …?  And Ss wrote the answered on the board. After, Ss practiced some sentences and they wrote on the board. T checked it and correct the mistakes.



 






T pasted the flashcards in different position and he asked the question. Students looked for the picture and answered “The car is in the desk”.



In the last stage, T gave a worksheet. Ss answered the correct preposition. Finally, they compare the answers together.















Note: Ss enjoyed this class. I saw that they wanted to learn. Even they tried to write sentences on the board.  Although, the topic was difficult but they felt interested in it.  The materials were colorful and the activities were fun. For me, this class was a challenge for children.  They tried to do the best.

Class - 17 Wednesday, october 21st/ 2015 Yesmin

Topic: Toyland! (Vocabulary).



Ss stand up and made two lines. Each group ordered sentences. For instance, T wrote on the board eyes/ small/ I / have. They ordered like this: I have small eyes. 





 In the next stage, T presented the vocabulary but before they gave two piece of paper to each students. Also, Ss wanted to participate and they took the nag names and pasted in the correct ordered. After, Ss practiced the pronunciation of the words.




 


















T showed the question do you have a …?  And the answers I have, I don´t have. Ss practiced the question and the answers asked each other. In this part they used the paper that T gave before and they answered according that the pictures they had.


Ss received a worksheet. They works a lone. They saw the tag names and wrote the number and each image. They compared answers each  other






In the last stage, Ss drew their favorite toys. After one by one passed in front and the other asked the question do you have a ….?




Note: the class was  better than the previous one. T developed very good the skill. I saw that Ss wanted to participate in all the activities. The materials were ok.



Class 16 - Monday, october 19th/ 2015 Geo- Gio

Topic: Body talk! (Reading).


At the beginning of the class, Ss played matching game. T said a part of the body and Ss had to matching with your partner. For example, T said hand to hand, Ss both touched the hand.  



In the next activity, T used different flashcards to introduce the vocabulary with their respective tag names. Also, T presented the adjectives like ugly, small, long etc. Ss said your favorite body part.




Ss received a worksheet. Also, T gave a piece of paper with little description to use for answer the worksheet. For the next part, Ss circle the correct answer. Finally, they compared it. 






T gave a piece of paper with a pencil color. Ss drew their favorite part of their body. After that they drew, Ss explained the drawing with colors and adjectives.


  In the last stage, Ss played " Fruit Salad" T gave two names of the fruit to Ss. when T said the name of the fruit Ss moved to look for other place, but if T said fruit salad, all ss moved.


Note: Despite the weather, the class  was great. Teachers developed very well the skill. the materials were colorful. the activities were funny. Also, the instructions were clearly. Very good job!

Class15 - Wednsday, october 14th/2015 Vane and Fatima

Topic: Body talk! ( Listening).



At the beginning of the class, Ss made two lines.  T said a word like nose, mouth, ear and Ss had to draw the picture that the T said. The first Ss who drew it.  Ss won a point. Each students passed on the board. 



T Vane presented pictures with each parts of the body. She asked to Ss what it was making CCQ. 




After, T introduced the grammar “I don’t have” and “I have”. Ss made sentences using the grammar that T presented before. 


 T presented some adjectives and explained the structure of the sentences for example I don’t have big eyes. In the last activity in this stage Ss played the “hot potato” Ss passed the market and Ss who had the market. Ss made a sentence.


In the next stage, T gave a worksheet and read the instructions. First, Ss listened the audio.  Then, Ss listened again and answered the worksheet. Ss compared the answer together. 

 


 










T gave a piece of paper the Ss who had the paper smaller, they had to sit in order. The first Ss choose a flashcard, Ss passed in font and have to describe the monster using the parts of the body.



In the last stage, Ss sit on the floor. Students played a memory game. The Ss who made pairs. They won a point.








Note: the class was good. Ss enjoyed and the materials were colorful. All the activities were ok. I really like because T made CCQ all the time.

Class 14- Monday, october 12th/2015 Hazel- Abi


Topic: Body talk! (Grammar)


At the beginning of the class, T Aby introduced the topic and pasted on the board a poster with the parts of the body. She asked to Ss if they remembered each part of the body.

 In the next stage, T explained the grammar “ I have and I don’t have” to Ss .

In the practice stage, T Hazel made two groups and gave a pieces of papers. Ss made sentences using the grammar and the group who had more point was the winner.

In the last part, T hazel made pairs. Ss had shooting depending on the color that they had. Ss chose a paper and complete the sentence. 

 Note: This class was good. Teachers developed very well the skill. Ss enjoyed it. The materials were colorful also the instruction were clear.

Class 13 - Wednesday, october 7th/2015 Karla- Karla


Topic: Body Talk! (Vocabulary)

In the first activity, Ss made a circle. They was sitting on the floor.  Each students spun the bottle and the S that the bottle indicated, she/ he took a part of the body and pasted it on the puzzle.
 
 
 
 
 
 

T presented the vocabulary. Using a flashcards with each part and the name tags. After that, Ss practiced the pronunciation. Also, T made CCQ. T asked to the students if it was ok and Ss helped to paste the correct name tag in the puzzle.

 

 
 
 
 
Ss made two line. The first S took a part of the body that the T said and past to the other Ss.  The last S pasted it and looked for the name and also pasted in the correct position. The group who had more point was the winner.
 

T pasted an images that represented to Simon. Ss made a circle when T came near to Simon and said “Simon says touch your leg” Ss touched but T said just touches your leg SS did not do it.  If the Ss made a mistake, she/ he passed to Simon.
 

Ss receives a page just with a part of the body.  Ss drew the body according that T said. At the end, two Ss showed them the drawing and pointed two parts the rest of the students said the correct name.



I really enjoyed this class, Karla and I felt comfortable. we maneged the time better than the last class.  Ss enjoyed it and  they participated in all the activities. The materials were awesome.
 

Class 12 - Monday,14th october/2015 Vane- Fatima

Topic: Insect Life! ( Reading)


T started the class greeting to students. Ss made two lines and played the “Flypaper”. T said a name of insect, they looked to the images and hit the correct image with the flypaper. They repeated this activity many times.
 
 
 

In the next activity, Ss played the “hot potatoes”, Ss passed the dog. When T stopped the sound. Ss who had the dog, he had to pass and took a name’s of the insect and pasted next to the picture. After that, Ss presented some adjectives. Ss practiced the pronunciation.



Ss received a pages with some exercises and a text. First, T read the instructions of the worksheet. Then, Ss read the text and answered the exercises according with the text.

In the next stage, Ss received a page with sentences and images, they read the sentences and cut the image. Then, they pasted the images in the corresponding sentences.


In the last activity, Ss made a circle sitting on the floor. T said a name of the insect and the first Ss who touched the image had a point.  






The class was nice they made good activities, they pronounce the words fine. Ss enjoyed the class, They participated  in all the activities. Ts made a great job.
