Class 2 - Monday, august 31st /2015 - Karla- Karla

Topic: My family (Grammar)
 


This was the second class for children. Karla and I were the teachers. In the first activity T Karla R. gave  to Ss a doll and students had to pass when  T stopped to hit the board students who had the ball. He/ She  had to match the vocabulary with the picture on the board. T made this activity repetedly.


In the second activity was my turn. I showed two picture for explain that “She” is for girls and “He” for boys. Then, I presented to Ss examples using the verb “To be. Also, we practiced pronunciation. After that  Ss made two group. The goup number 1 had to look for pictures just for boys and the group two just for girls and pasted on the board.

 

In third activity, T gave a piece of papers of Ss. Students made a groups. T showed a picture and said a sentences. Ss had to form the sentence quickly. T practiced this activity six time.

 







In the next activity, Ss played “Doing that you listen not that you see” for example teacher said “move yours hands” and T  touched yours legs, Ss who did the same as the T made a mistake and had to choose a picture and said a sentence.



Finally, students made a circle. T gave a ball and Ss  had to pass the ball. When teacher said ten S who wad the ball, He/ she  had to choose if the sentence was wrong or right.








Note: Karla and I felt nervous but Ss enjoyed the class. I saw that they were paying  attention. Our  materials were well.  We have to improve some things. For example, the time management and instructions.
